We worked hard and played hard. We played 'Snowbirds' for 7 years. Bought a small bungalow in a nice very small town in rural Colorado. Now we spend our time playing internet, reading with our feet up. Take a few moments and read my bloviating about growing old, politics, or whatever pops into my gray matter...leave your thoughts..

This tombstone is actually in the Attica Cemetery, Harper County , Kansas.
A friend sent me these pictures in an email and I thought they were very interesting. I am sharing them with you all. Quite a poser...what do you think? Leave a comment.......
On a lighter note....the holidays are just around the corner so here's a shopping tip for ya that does not require leaving your house. Shop multitudes of stores at Online Auction

I was browsing google today and saww a bunch of folks with this subject so I had to reach out again to snopes to authenticate the story. It is TRUE. I always thought the politicians today were prone to extreme nastiness....but, guess that's not the case.
I can't imagine that last request being honored, no matter what the date! (Or political affiliation!) And can you fathom the COST of all those words?
Evidently the family had strong feelings and maybe the deceased had the bucks!! Who knows.....I thought it was interesting:)
LOL I guess he had the last word!
That is quite a post SG. I think it was so fitting for whoever honored the request. Thank you for sharing this with the rest of us.
