Carol Burnett...Aahhh, Those Were The Days...

Remember the 'charwoman' or 'Mrs. Wiggins', Mr. Tudball, Eunice, Tim Conway as a shuffling old man plus so many other memorable characters? It began in 1967 and continued for 11 years. I went through school, dating, marriage, childbirth...all with Carol Burnett and ensemble. It was a sad day when it left the airwaves in 1978...I have fond memories of hilarity for one hour a week for all those years.

These little video clips are hilarious...my cheeks hurt from laughing...take a moment, watch and laugh...you'll feel refreshed when they're finished...

When you've finished getting your funny bone tickled..get a cup of coffee and browse the bargains going on at Online Auction. This is first week of the 6 Week Stimulus Extravaganza. Each week will feature different categories.

Oh, I loved the Carol Burnett show! Tim Conway was great!!! (They all were, but...)

My favorite memory is one of their most famous... remember the scene where Carol dressed up as Scarlet O'Hara and wore the green draperies? ROFLOL!

Thanks for giving me my chuckle for today, SG!
You're the best!

Harvey Korman was always my favorite on the Carol Burnett show. And boy, did she have a great Tarzan yell.

I always pictured Tim Conway as Ernest Borgnine's side kick in McHale's Navy.

Fredd, Harvey was so believable in his many characters...until he'd get cracked up by the others! Total joy!!!

I always LOVED Carol Burnett! Also, she seems like such a truly kind and gracious person in real life. She's endured terrible tragedy with the death of her daughter and her childhood years were tough ones. Nonetheless, I'm certain she's kept her sense of humor and her love of people. She's someone I'd like to meet in person if I ever had and opportunity to do so.
